Hi I'm Miri!

I'm a Germany-based hobby artist and full-time graphic designer. In my free time I love to draw, mostly digitally but I also enjoy experimenting with watercolor, graphite and other traditional tools. My style changes a lot since I'm always trying new brushes and techniques but I usually focus on capturing emotions through the characters. Some pieces are soft and subtle, others more dramatic. It really depends on what I'm feeling or what kind of story I want to tell. But sometimes they're simply shitposts to mess with people <3I'm into a mix of fandoms and draw whatever I'm currently into, often messy yaoi or yuri dynamics with a soft spot for older characters with weird emotional tension and tragic endings :') I usually don't stick to one series or pairing and just follow what inspires me. I don't know what else to say, fanart just keeps me excited to create!!I mainly use Clip Studio Paint with textured brushes and quite clean linework. I also use Adobe programs through my design job so depending on the project I might work in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects or InDesign. My graphic design work is more structured but I'm starting to find ways to connect it with my illustration especially through layout work and print.While I mostly draw just for fun I'd really like to get more involved in zines and other fandom projects. I love the idea of making something collaborative and physical that I can hold in my hands at the end. It's also a nice way to bring together my design and art skills in a way that feels meaningful and most importantly fun.Fun fact: I'm collecting tigers like a grandma is collecting porcelain dolls. My living room is full of them and I'm always keeping an eye out for new ones to adopt.
